Who is she?

Liz Lenkinski is a writer, producer, and social strategist who has seen too much.

She works with companies like Netflix, Meta, and Apple, and collaborates with people like Chelsea Handler and Oprah Winfrey. Notably, she launched Oprah’s Book Club on social media in 2019, and grew it to over a million engaged readers in less than a year. She also developed — alongside Ms. Winfrey — the award-winning Oprah’s Book Club Podcast.

In 2023, Liz had a big year: she founded a consultancy of her own, coined the Age of Unhingement™ to describe our era of screen-induced madness and little normalcy, started writing about it on Substack, and got to bitch about how insane everything is in a New Yorker article.

Endlessly fascinated by the intersection of media, technology, and culture, she holds an M.A. in Media Studies from The New School in New York City. She was born in Toronto and now resides in the apocalyptic nirvana known as Los Angeles.
